1. How soon can you fix my computer?

Providing your computer can still access the internet then we could potentially resolve your problem within the next few minutes. Remote access technology means you will not have to wait for a technician to visit your home so your computer problems are being fixed faster than ever before. Our opening hours run from 8 am to 8 pm.

2. When are your technicians available??

Our technicians are available from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday. If there are no technicians available, you can leave a message and we will respond within 24 hours.

3. Do you operate in my area?

As we provide instant remote support it doesn't matter where you are in the world providing you can access the internet. Our technology means we do not need to send a technician out to visit you. We simply connect to your computer via the internet so we can help you no matter where you are.  

4. How is your service secure?

Our service is totally secure and in order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect on line. All data is encrypted before being transferred between our technician and you. This means data cannot be "hijacked" or used inappropriately.

5. Are your technicians fully qualified?

Yes, our Dr. Pooter Technicians are fully qualified and highly experienced. They are carefully selected and have all spent many years working in the computer industry.

6. What happens if you are unable to repair my computer?

If your Dr. Pooter Technician can’t fix your computer we won't charge you.

7. How do I know my computer data will remain private?

Our terms of service respect your privacy and your data.

8. How much do you charge?

Time with a technician is charged in 30 minute blocks that are purchased up front. You must purchase a minimum of two 30 minute blocks at a maximum cost of £50. However, you are only charged for the minutes that you use and any minutes left over are stored for the next time you need Dr Pooters services. Before we work on your computer, we will give you an estimate of how much time it is expected to take. The more blocks of time you buy, the cheaper they become.

9. What is your minimum charge?

Our minimum charge is for one thirty minute block of time.

10. Which methods of payment do you accept?

We accept payment via all major credit and debit cards – a full receipt will be sent by email and this is inclusive of VAT.
We regret we cannot accept payment with cash or cheque.

11. Do you support Apple Mac based computers and systems?

We currently do not support Apple Mac computer systems.
